It’s British Science Week!
From 5-14th March, St Bede’s STEM Faculty will be inviting pupils, via Science lessons, to take part in a voluntary project in association with Solihull-based environmental company Enzen, aimed at raising their awareness of global issues related to improving water quality and sustainability.
This is an excellent opportunity for pupils to use their STEM skills and acquire new knowledge in the process of project completion.
Successful entries will be awarded certificates and could win the school a cash prize!
Pupils can complete the project either as individuals or in socially distanced/remote teams.
Enzen will also be holding a live webinar later in April, during which experts from the water sustainability industry will be available to answer pupils’ questions. This will be arranged in school time.
The deadline for entries is Thursday 29th April 2021. Project entry details will be made available to pupils in lessons over the next week. as well as via a PowerPoint in their year group’s Live Lessons Teams files tab.
