A reminder that our parents forum is taking place on Wednesday 12th June, in the Hub at 7pm. The meeting will touch many key areas – including new ways we can communicate updates and share pupil information with parents via ICT. All parents are welcome to attend – and the meeting will last no longer then an hour. We look forward to seeing you there.
Mr Heery is delighted to announce that St Bede’s has been awarded a certificate of Effective Practice in a range of key areas. This means that we are seen by the Local Authority as an example of high quality, and have been included on the Worcestershire database for other schools to contact and learn from. We are delighted that we have been recognised in this way. St Bede’s Catholic Middle

As part of the improvements to our website and communications with parents, we are pleased to let you know that we have installed a new email list function. This allows parents to sign up on the website using their email addresses to receive certain documents, including the weekly newsletter via email. Parents can manage their subscription and email address through our website, without having to contact the school directly. Your email address will only be used for contacting you directly from the school itself, and will not be passed on. It is our aim that over the next year we try to phase out sending newsletters home via paper by default – encouraging parents to subscribe via email. Paper copies will still be available from reception for those without access to the Internet. You can subscribe online by following this link – we will send out the first newsletter this Friday via this method.

We have completely revamped the website, and its content. Over the coming months we will continue to add additional content to the site, and would welcome any feedback on the new design and layout.
