Dear All,

I hope that you are all safe and well.

There is quite a bit of information to share with you this week.

Good Shepherd Mass: A date for your diaries: Monday 29 June. Details about this will be sent out Friday 12 June.

Cathedral Masses for the Sick and their families, NHS Front-line workers and those working in social care.

Thursday 18 June St. Chad’s Cathedral, Birmingham celebrated by His Grace, Archbishop Bernard at 7:00. This week’s Thursday Mass is being celebrated by Bishop Pat McKinney (formerly of the Archdiocese)

Day for Life: This day of prayer is on Sunday 21 June. His Holiness, Pope Francis, has given this day an Apostolic Blessing

Weekly Worship and Song: Dan and Emily are taking a short break from the Weekly Worship so that they can concentrate on creating new resources for schools to use in the coming weeks and months ahead. They have been so generous with their time and energy which I know has been much appreciated by schools and homes within and beyond the Archdiocese. It is important that they focus on re-establishing the business side of their ministry so that they can continue supporting children and staff’s spiritual development and formation. We will keep you informed of any updates from them.

The God Who Speaks: the website has been updated:  Please note that this initiative will be continuing to the end of this Liturgical year and throughout the next one too. If you wish to receive the newsletters please follow this link

Certificate of Thanksgiving for Dedicated Service to Catholic Education: As the academic year enters its final term there will no doubt be a number of staff and governors who are retiring and are deserving of this certificate. Please note that it is reserved for those who have gone ‘over and above’ in their service to Catholic Education. If you wish for this certificate to be awarded to someone within your school community please contact me. Unfortunately, we can only send out pdf copies of the certificate for you to print off at this present time.

CAFOD Assembly: The first ever live assembly takes place on Thursday 18 June at 10:00. You can find out more and  access pdf notes If you can’t join in live it will be available afterwards.

The resource page and shared page are still being regularly updated so please do have a look at what’s there and

Hopefully, the sun might decide to pay us a visit over the weekend. Take care.

Best wishes
