The return of the District Athletics competition took place on Friday 24th June, after a long awaited 3-year absence, due to COVID. Pupils from St Bede’s had been working extremely hard during their PE lessons and after school track and field practice to get ready for this day and were looking forward to showcase their talents on the big stage.

The competition was held at The Abbey Stadium in Redditch, in front of lots of friends and family, as well as those from other schools. Our young athletes did extremely well, demonstrating an excellent attitude on and off the track, producing lots of high-level performances and taking lots of medals across all of the disciplines.

A big well done to all of our athletes.

Also, good luck to those pupils who have been selected to represent the county on Wednesday 30th June.
