Dear Parents and Carers
We are finally at the end of what seems to have been an incredibly long term.
Firstly, we want to say a massive thank-you to all of you for your support over the challenging past few months. You have all adapted and taken on board the changes that we have had to make and supported the school so much during an incredibly tough time. This situation is not over yet so we hope that you will continue to support us as we move into 2021.
This term has been different, but pupils have really stepped up to the plate and have adapted so well to the new circumstances. With rules and regulations changing frequently, they have been flexible in their approach and have taken things on board with minimal fuss. This is a testament to the hard work that you put in as parents but also the work we do at school, and shows that we have a consistent approach together and foster positive relationships between each other.
Finally, the staff and governors have been fabulous over the course of the past term. It has been difficult at times, but they have all pulled through. Thanks in part to their vigilance and adherence to standards, we have been lucky to have a low rate of COVID related absence and cases in school. A special mention must go out to Michelle and Angela, our daytime cleaners, who have been on site constantly each day, cleaning nonstop! We dread to think how many times they have wiped down the door handles and cleaned toilets!
This Christmas is going to be difficult and challenging for many of us for varying reasons. However, we must not forget the power of prayer to get us through any tough spells. Every part of our school community will be in our prayers over the festive period and we hope that you all have the most peaceful time you can. Wherever you are and whoever you spend it with, make sure you keep safe and we look forward to seeing you all in 2021.
Take care, stay safe and God bless.
Mr Roberts and Mr Payton
