Dear Parents and Carers,
We are at the end of our first week of the new normal and it’s been a case of so far so good! The pupils have been absolutely amazing getting used to the new routines and procedures that have had to be put in place. I dread to think how much hand sanitizer and anti-viral wipes we have used this week!
We started “normal” lessons on Wednesday which I know was a relief for many staff as they just wanted to get back to teaching. I have to say a massive well done and thanks to all the staff in school who have been absolutely brilliant since our return.
Please ensure you are not blocking any drives, entries or exits when parking to drop off or collect your child(ren).
I will be unapologetic in the fact that I am giving another reminder about the times that your child needs to be in school. We still have a number of parents who claim to not have read the information that we sent out on 14th July with regards to the start and finish times. We really need your support in ensuring that we following government guidelines.
Just to reiterate the timings of the school day to clear up any confusion.
|Year Group||Start Time||DO NOT ENTER SITE BEFORE||Dismissal Time|
|Gate will NOT be opened before 8.35am|
PLEASE do NOT send your child to school before their allocated time. We have tried to keep the gaps between entrances as short as possible but we need to also factor in traffic around school, footfall on the pathways around school and capacity on public transport.
Our outstanding before and after school provision does have spaces available, please contact them for more information:
- 9.00am—3.00pm 01527 550341 – TERM TIME ONLY
- 7.30am-9.00am and 3.00pm-6.00pm 07756 280840 – TERM TIME ONLY
As always, if you have any concerns or queries, please do not hesitate to contact school. If we don’t know about problems, we can’t fix them!
Have a lovely weekend!
Take care and God bless,
