Dear Parents and Carers,

We have noticed some discussion on Social Media with regards to our interim uniform policy for September due to Covid 19.

We have amended our uniform policy for the following reasons:

1) Government guidance states that clothes need to be able to be washed every day. Therefore, we have removed the compulsory need for blazers and ties as we understand that it would be a challenge for parents to wash these every day and due to the cost, it would not be possible for parents to purchase more than one blazer.

2) The polo shirts and jumpers do not have to be branded. We have done this to allow parents to buy “supermarket” school uniform to reduce cost as we understand that you may need to purchase more uniform that usual.

3) This interim uniform policy will be for the whole of the next academic year.

4) We also understand that for many parents this time has been very difficult financially, so we have given another option to help support our parents.

We anticipate that for academic year 2021-2022, we will be back to normal with our blazer and tie uniform from September and polo shirts just in the summer.
