This week was our final week of the Wellbeing Garden Project and there was still lots to do to make sure we finished in time! Five pupils were lucky enough to go to Cook’s Garden Centre with Mr Delo, to work with a professional gardener, choosing the correct plants and shrubs for our garden. They set out a plan and came back with a safari load of colour! Whilst they were doing this, the remaining pupils stayed and worked hard, digging and transporting soil from our Forest School into our raised flower beds to give them a bit of a base. On the return of the greenery, pupils placed where they wanted their plants to go and then began top soiling and digging the plants in. We are extremely proud of the work they have done in this project and thank them for their efforts. They have transformed a previously derelict area into a beautiful space for quiet meditation and reflection which can be used by all at St Bede’s.
