An excellent session for the Junior Apprentice Group for starter week. The pupils were given recipe sheets to make garlic focaccia bread, salsa, guacamole and nachos and then had to work in their groups to produce their dishes. The pupils were fantastic in helping each other, communicating what they were unsure of and producing the dishes within the given time. They were the envy of the hub as the teasing smell of garlic focaccia filled the air!

Brilliant work from all involved; we look forward to producing our main courses next week of Panzanella and burritos. Pupils will also be doing a virtual workshop with a company called Volunteer It Yourself (VIY) who will be talking to them about careers in apprenticeships.
