This week, the Junior Apprentice Programme pupils worked extremely hard, fitting in their Maths and English testing along with taking part in the programme.
Whilst they were with us in the morning, they worked on the Forest School and Wellbeing Garden, cutting back weeds and trimming down the summers growth! They then enjoyed painting a few layers of treatment onto some cladding we are going to use to repair the Forest School summer house.
In the afternoon, we headed over to Our Lady’s Catholic Primary to see the sites that they would like some work done on. They were fantastic hosts, letting us take part in Forest School activities, such as making an Autumn crown and eating toasted marshmallows!
Both sets of children loved working together and are looking forward to beginning to develop both areas in the coming weeks.
