The pupils in the Junior Apprentice Programme have had a busy couple of weeks. Last week, they set up our sensory walks into the Forest School and filled them with a variety of objects. They also built a roof onto the shelter in the Wellbeing Garden.
This week was celebration week! The pupils started by reflecting on what skills they had learned over the last half term with us, filling in their questionnaires to reflect this and writing a small paragraph explaining what they felt they had enjoyed and learned about themselves. Then, they cracked on with making their cushions for the chair we made a few weeks back. To finish, the pupils lead games on the field and in the sports hall, before retiring to the Tech room for cake!
We are immensely proud of all of the pupils who took part in the Junior Apprentice Programme this half term and are looking forward to hearing how they get on after half term when they return to their usual timetable.
