The final JAP of the year has taken a bit of a rebrand as we are now called the Pupil Entrepreneur Programme! We are working with a group of Year 7 pupils to research and develop a product/service or business to be launched here at St Bede’s – with any money that we make to be donated to local charities (to be determined).

Yesterday, we started with team building and leadership games and then we split into two teams to think of ideas for them to run. Team 1 found that fidget toys were in low supply so they researched and pitched the idea of stocking and selling these. Team 2 went down the delicious design route where they are looking at how they could combine art with desserts. Two awesome ideas that they could potentially use.

Next week, we are looking to delve deeper into our research and we are in contact and working with a couple of local business. If you are part of a company and would like to get involved with helping our budding entrepreneurs, then please don’t hesitate to contact school.
