Hello everyone, good morning, and I hope that your week has been going well for you so far.
Welcome to our Spiritual Lift for Wednesday.
Weekly Scripture Verse:
Our scripture verse for us to ponder and pray for this week comes from Psalm 100. (Ps 100:5) Our verses are taken from the CTS New Catholic Bible. Let us give thanks to the Lord for the precious gift of His Word, the Bible. May it guide and strengthen us in these days. Be encouraged and allow God to speak to you!
“Indeed, how good is the Lord, eternal His merciful love. He is faithful from age to age.”
Today we remember and give thanks to God for the life and witness of Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys. Here is some information about her from www.catholic.org.
Month of January.
During the month of January, we focus on the Holy Childhood of Jesus and the Names and Titles of Jesus.
During this month we can offer special prayers to the Infant Jesus. It is one of the mysteries of our faith that our powerful and eternal God chose to be born as a Man for us here on earth and Jesus was found in human form as a little baby who had to grow as the years went by, just as we do.
He became like us in all things except sin. As an infant, Jesus was little, helpless and weak for He wanted to be with us as He is our Immanuel, God-With-Us. Whatever we face today and going forward into this New Year, Jesus is with and walks beside us, sometimes carrying us gently in His loving arms when we are unable to stand.
Our prayer this month:
To the Divine Infant of Prague, Our Lord Jesus. Please see the link below from www.catholic.org.
Our Name and Title of Jesus for today:

Cycle of Prayer: Ordinary Time (Winter)

Our daily scripture reading today comes from the Book of Psalms. (Psalm 39:2,3) Quotation taken from the CTS New Catholic Bible. Let us thank God for the gift of His Word to us today.
“I waited, I waited for the LORD, and He stooped down to me; He heard my cry: He drew me from the deadly pit, from the miry clay. He set my feet upon a rock and made my footsteps firm.”
