This week, alongside our weekly fitness challenges & #getupwithgallers videos, we are also now launching a weekly PE lesson which pupils in each key stage can watch and engage with. Pupils can watch and complete the lesson once or try to improve their work or performances each day! Any evidence of pupil work can, as always, be sent to the PE department for feedback. This week, KS3 will be looking at ‘Leadership’ and will be planning their own sport specific warm up session, which we hope pupils will be able to deliver once back in school. KS2 will be looking at the two ‘Jumping’ events in indoor Athletics, learning the technique’s required for the Standing Long Jump and Standing Triple Jump.
